The "Buzzsaw" folds...

Yes it's time to crunch some numbers for the Red Sox as they prepare to prove themselves to the cream of the AL East, other than themselves of course.

The Tampa Bay Rays haven't quite been the exorcised fish of last year lately. With their pitching staff struggling, it seems like a match up designed for the Red Sox. I mean, if our pitching can hold up which recent history proves it does, then our very recently powerful offense should be just enough to climb over theirs.

However, the Yankee series should be interesting, Boston with the better arm collection and New York with the better stick collection. Statistics and logic dictate that we can't win ALL of the games between our bitter nemesis. If I were to put money on it, I'd say we split the series, if I were to put my heart on it, obviously we sweep them and storm our way to the World Series, but hearts aren't quite as valuable in today's economy.

All and all though, I say it's been lined up to be a good week for Spell-Breakers.
