Roster Spots

There have been some semi-interesting things to watch in camp this year that
make the rubber doll games a bit more tantalizing. With Julio being out for 3-4 weeks. That opens up a spot for this year's Red Sox Idol 2009, Nick Green. There are 15-16 pitchers who are capable of making the final roster. I would love to see Tazawa on the roster, but he will be sent down and not rushed into action. Josh Bard has left town and Kottaras looks like the man to spell Tek. With Kotsay hurt , Drew hobbled, and questions remaining with Rocco, a spot may be there for a Bailey, Van Every or Carter for the time being.
These are some of the burning questions while us fans muddle through the rubber doll games counting down the days and hours until April 6th. There are plenty of distractions in the sports world, March Madness, Where will Julilus Peppers be traded, the Celtics, NFL draft, WBC , etc, etc. etc. Just kind of bored with the whole thing until I at least know who is on the final roster then I can start thinking about the season and not yawn.
